Registration will take place at the Olney-Margolies (OMAC) Athletic Center located in the Erikson Athletic Complex Lodging is provided at the Champlin Dormitory located two blocks west of the OMAC
Driving Directions
From the North: Take 95 South to Branch Avenue (Exit 24). Turn left onto Branch Avenue to traffic light. Cross intersection and go up Cypress Street hill to Hope Street (stop sign). Turn right on Hope Street, bear to the left at the fork and cross over Lloyd Avenue. Entrance to Athletic Complex is next driveway on left.
From the South: Take 95 North to Rhode Island. Once in Providence, take Branch Avenue (Exit 24). Turn right onto Branch Avenue to traffic light. Cross intersection and go up Cypress Street hill to Hope Street (stop sign). Turn right on Hope Street, bear to the left at the fork and cross over Lloyd Avenue. Entrance to Athletic Complex is next driveway on left.
From the East: Take Route 195 West to Gano Street exit in Providence. Take right onto Gano Street, go to Angell Street (at that point Gano Street turns into Taber Avenue) and turn left. Take Angell Street to Hope Street and turn right. The Athletic Complex driveway is on the right after Stimson Street.
Please be advised that major road construction is currently under way for those campers arriving on 95 South and 95 North at the 195 on/off ramps.
By Train
Providence is served by Amtrak. The train station is a short cab ride to the University, or campers may purchase a $10.00 round trip transfer fee that is payable upon arrival. Please provide us with your itinerary one week prior to arrival and a camp representative will meet you.
By Bus
Providence is served by Greyhound and Bonanza bus lines. Their Providence terminals are a short cab ride to the University, or campers may purchase a $10.00 round trip transfer fee that is payable upon arrival. Please provide us with your itinerary one week prior to arrival and a camp representative will meet you.
By Plane
T.F. Green International Airport (named for Theodore Francis Green, class of 1887) is served by most national and regional airlines. The airport, which is located in the city of Warwick, is approximately 10 miles from the University. A variety of ground transportation is available from the terminal to Providence. Campers may purchase a $40.00 round trip transfer fee that is payable upon arrival.
